Complaints
Unless otherwise stated in the Terms and Conditions, claims may be made exclusively through the Claims Form available at www.jimiprint.cz.
A claim will not be accepted if the cause is solely due to the Customer's failure to follow the instructions for the preparation of print data. This applies in particular to printed matter with inks that were not specified in the order. Minor colour deviations are not considered a defect, even in comparison with previous orders from the same supplier.
Warranty
For consumers, the warranty period begins on the date of receipt of the goods and lasts 24 months. The warranty does not cover defects caused by normal wear and tear. If the goods do not conform to the contract of sale upon receipt, the consumer has the right to demand that the supplier bring the goods into conformity with the contract of sale, either by repair or replacement, free of charge and without undue delay. If this is not possible, the consumer may demand a reasonable reduction in the price or withdraw from the contract. This does not apply if the consumer knew of the non-conformity or caused it. A non-conformity which becomes apparent within six months of receipt shall be deemed to have existed at the time of receipt, unless this is contrary to the nature of the goods or is proven otherwise. If the defect is remediable, the consumer is entitled to have it remedied free of charge, in a timely and proper manner within 30 days. If this is not disproportionate in view of the nature of the defect, the consumer may request replacement of the goods or part thereof. If this is not possible, he may demand a discount or withdraw from the contract. In the case of an irremediable defect that prevents proper use, he has the right to have the goods replaced or to withdraw from the contract. The same rights shall apply in the event of repeated defects after repair or multiple defects that prevent the goods from being used.
Liability for defects
The Customer is obliged to inspect the goods immediately after delivery or receipt and report any obvious or hidden defects within one week via the complaint form at www.jimiprint.cz. The date of dispatch of the notification is decisive for compliance with the deadline. The delivery of the wrong quantity or type of goods is also considered a defect. If a part of the delivery is defective, the customer cannot claim the whole goods. The Supplier shall, at its discretion, deliver the missing goods, replace the defective goods or repair the defective goods within a reasonable period of time, which shall not exceed 20 calendar days from receipt of the complaint. The time limit is met if the replacement or repaired goods are delivered to the carrier within that time limit. If the Supplier fails to remedy the defect within this period, or if the repair fails, the Customer may demand a second repair, a reasonable discount or withdraw from the contract. The customer must give written notice of the claim. Replacement goods and repairs are subject to the same liability as the original goods.
